Human rights are fundamental rights that every person is entitled to, simply by virtue of being human. These rights include the right to life, liberty, and security of person; freedom of speech and expression; and the right to education and work, among others. However, despite the international recognition of human rights, there are still many challenges and violations that occur around the world. From discrimination and inequality to political repression and violence, the state of human rights today is a complex and often distressing issue. It is essential for individuals and governments alike to prioritize the protection and promotion of human rights in order to create a more just and equitable society for all.
